The inaugural issue of the 'Sri Pura' monthly e-newspaper published by the Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Municipal Council was released on 15th of November 2023 marking a unique moment in its history. This is a creative work of the Council Media Unit.
To raise awareness about matters that lead to the development of general knowledge and the welfare of the lives of those who are young, middle-aged and old and to create pride about the capital city by raising awareness of the historical-cultural-literal value. The basic desire of launching this statement is to get the community's contribution to regularize the services provided by the Municipal Council and inform the things the public need to know about Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Municipal Council.
